Puerto Rico Travel Day

 Whew... long day today. Started when we left the house at 3:45am for our flight to Charlotte. The flight was nice and we spent a long layover in a very crowded airport waiting on our flight to San Juan. The flight was late and totally packed, but we made it on. Again a nice flight then an uber ride and we were in Old Town San Juan. 

We didn't do a whole lot since we got to the apartment after 7pm. We got in the gate, then up 4 flights of stairs and finally in. Apartment is really nice and right in the thick of things. We walked to a recommended restaurant, El Jabrito... hooo boooiii it was so good. Plantain tamales? Mofongo? I'm a fan. You know it's good when we talk about coming back before we are done with the meal.

A nice walk back to the apartment, which is near a small park/square where a party is happening. Live music, dancing, lights... was fun to watch and listen.

Back at the apartment for overdue rest, check email, hmmm... airbnb email from the rental host saying we need to move, there had been water issues after large rains. We were so tired, we kind of ignored the email and just hit the beds. Honestly, seemed totally fine.
